the Tasmanian Tiger soft toy, is a realistic stuffed animal from the Bocchetta Plush Toys range. The Tassie Tiger is one of Australias' most interesting and least understood creatures. While Tasmanian Tigers look like a large striped dog or tiger, they are not a 'Tiger' at all but a marsupial and raised their young in a pouch. The last known Thylacine (Tasmanian Tiger) died in Hobart Zoo on the 7th September 1936, the species is now quite possibly extinct.
