Whats GOTS?   There is lots of discussion nowadays about sustainability and being ecologically and socially responsible. In Teddy Bear Land, things have been changing too, and over the last few years it has become easier and easier to find, teddy bears, comforters, soft toys and teethers that tick all environmentally friendly boxes.

The newest buzz is GOTS!   GOTS is an acronym for Global Organic Textile Standard. The GOTS vision is that organic textiles will become a significant part of everyday life, enhancing people's lives and the environment.  More and more companies are taking on the GOTS mission and are using GOTS certified organic cotton and flax fabrics in the production of their baby and children’s ranges.

          Maudnlil is an Australian business founded in 1993, whose products have always been made from organic cotton. The products in their range be they soft toys, baby gifts, comforters or dummy holders now use GOTS certified organic cotton. 

          Steiff who have offered organic cotton toys for Babies for a long time, have now begun making a lovely range of affordable GOTS baby gifts, soft toys, rattles and musical toys feature in their current range.
